Anick became vegan for ethical reasons. She quickly noticed that it facilitated a healthier diet. During this transition, she naturally developed good eating habits. Passionate about helping people adopt a vegan diet, Anick sincerely believes in its benefits for preventing various diseases.

Passionate about various sports such as running, hiking, weightlifting, skiing, and mountain biking outside of work, she loves exploring new disciplines and moving her body.

Anick overcame an eating disorder before studying nutrition at university. Drawing strength from this experience, she works extensively with clients dealing with eating disorders, aiming to help them improve their relationship with food, much like she did for herself.

IBS & Digestive Problems

Anick has received comprehensive training on irritable bowel syndrome. She regularly guides several clients in overcoming their digestive issues and has extensive experience in managing food intolerances and allergies of all kinds.

Pregnancy & Lactation

Since joining Plant-Based Dietitians, Anick has been dedicated to supporting pregnant women or those planning to become pregnant, ensuring an optimal pregnancy within the framework of a healthy vegetarian or vegan diet.

Toddler/ Child / Adolescent Nutrition

Anick has significant experience working in the family-parent-child context and one-on-one with adolescents. She has undergone training and internships in pediatrics in the past, thereby enhancing her skills to effectively support this clientele.

Anick and Her Journey with Plant-Based Nutrition

What motivated you to become a dietitian?

Nutrition is a young, evolving science with constantly new avenues to explore and questions to answer. Working in health sciences has always interested me, particularly the fundamental role that nutrition plays in preventing diseases of all kinds. This conviction has led me to believe that I can contribute to helping people to the best of my ability.

When did you become plant-based?

The moment I completed my nutrition degree (2018), my desire to exclusively follow a plant-based diet was already well underway. However, I made the decision to commit 100% at an opportune time when I felt confident that I could successfully change my diet for the better. I have never regretted this choice and am very proud of having made it.

Why are you plant-based?

My initial motivation for transitioning to a plant-based diet was for our fellow animals. After 4 years, I realize that adopting a plant-based lifestyle is not merely a transition or a process to start eating differently. It is a journey where you get to learn about so much more than you thought you’d learn. I am now eating plant-based and adopting a fully vegan lifestyle as this deepens and improves my understanding of compassion toward our fellow animals, our planet, and ourselves and others.
