Jessica and Her Journey with Plant-Based Nutrition
What motivated you to become a dietitian?
I chose to become a Registered Dietitian because I’ve always been drawn to the science of nutrition and how it shapes overall health. My passion for counselling comes from my love of supporting others. For me, there’s nothing more meaningful than guiding someone toward their goals while also helping them build a healthier, longer life.
Why are you plant-based?
I personally follow a lacto-ovo vegetarian, plant-based lifestyle because it aligns with my natural preferences and makes me feel my best. Eating this way feels deeply nourishing and supports my long-term health goals. With a family history of cardiovascular disease, I’ve chosen this approach to promote heart health, longevity, and overall well-being.
