Chia Seed Pudding
This chia seed pudding is made with soy milk, chia seeds & sweetener of choice. It’s a healthy snack or dessert and is loaded with protein, fiber and healthy fats.
This chia seed pudding is a little different than other recipes you might’ve seen as it is whipped. This means it’s zapped in the blender to remove the chia seed texture. I love making my chia seed pudding this way because it gets super light, smooth, and fluffy.
This recipe is for chocolate chia pudding, but if vanilla is more your vibe, try this easy 4-ingredient chia pudding.

How to make chia seed pudding
This chia seed pudding recipe is so incredibly easy. Essentially, you just throw all the ingredients in a blender, blend until smooth, and refrigerate!
The key to nailing this recipe is nailing the milk to chia seed ratio. This recipe calls for 1/4 cup of chia seeds (or 4 tablespoons) to 1 cup of milk. I’ve made whipped chia seed pudding a billion times and this is always the ratio I come back to. The base of this chia seed pudding is soy milk, but any non-dairy milk also works.
You can play around with the measurements to find the consistency you like best. The more chia seeds you add, the more healthy fats, fibre and bonus nutrition you will get.
Is chia seed pudding keto?
This chia seed pudding is a great alternative to commercial pudding as it contains high amounts of omega-3 and fibre, without excessive sugars or additives.
With the recipe written as is, one serving of this chia pudding provides 22 grams of carbohydrate, 7 grams of fibre, and 12 grams of sugars. To make the recipe even more keto-friendly, I’d suggest using coconut or almond milk, and using your favourite keto sweetener instead of maple syrup.
Unrelated to keto, another bonus to this vegan chia seed pudding is that it is also naturally gluten-free. Talk about win-wins!
