Chickpea Tofu
As seen on Tik Tok – if you’ve got chickpea flour, you’ve got tofu!
This soy free chickpea tofu (also called Burmese tofu) is an easy homemade tofu recipe to make. It’s healthy and a delicious source of protein. The texture of this chickpea tofu is soft, chewy, and pillowy. It also has a fabulous nutty taste and crisps up super well, just like regular tofu!
How to make chickpea tofu
This chickpea tofu recipe is honestly so easy:
- First, you whisk together 1 cup of chickpea flour and 1 cup of water.
- Then, you boil another cup of water, add your chickpea mixture, and mix and cook until thickened.
- Pour the chickpea mixture into a baking dish to let cool down (about 45 minutes) until it firms up. You’re almost done!
