Sweet Peanut Butter Spread
If you’re anything like me, then you love dates with peanut butter and chocolate. Medjool dates with natural salty peanut butter are an even more deadly combo.
So, let this sweet peanut butter spread blow your mind. Perfect for spreading on toast, dipping into with fruit, or for making vegan caramel chocolate bars, this sweet peanut butter spread can be whipped up in 5 minutes and will transform the way you enjoy dates with peanut butter.
This spread is naturally date-sweetened with no added sugar. It also has protein from natural peanut butter and is free of any additives.
How to make sweet peanut butter spread
In a food processor, add pitted dates (ideally Medjool) and peanut butter and pulse until smooth, for about 5-8 minutes. You can add water as needed to thin out and help reach your desired consistency. I like my spread to be thick, but you can also make yours runnier (like in this 3-ingredient peanut butter date caramel).
Then, add chocolate chips for that deadly dates–peanut butter–chocolate combo and pulse until mixed in, about 30 seconds. Some chocolate chunks will remain for extra delicious texture.
And there you are! You have perfect sweet peanut butter spread for dipping or spreading.
