These super easy vegan french toast sticks are a dream come true. Whenever I make these for breakfast I feel like my inner child comes out. There is nothing more fun than eating yummy french toast cinnamon sticks that you can dip in maple syrup.

French toast, in sticks or not, is easy to make and is a comforting Sunday morning breakfast for the whole family.

These vegan french toast sticks are complete with whole-wheat bread, banana, soy milk, and nut butter, making them a great option for a filling breakfast!

Each serving provides 9g of fibre, 17g of protein, and 3mg of iron. Despite being a sweeter breakfast, cinnamon french toast sticks are a fun and filling way to start the day!

How to make cinnamon french toast sticks

Making vegan french toast sticks is easy:

  1. Make the liquid mixture. In a blender, combine half of the banana, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and soy milk. Transfer to a shallow bowl.
  2. Prepare the sticks. Add 1 tsp nut butter to each piece of bread. Top with remaining banana (sliced), and with another slice of bread with nut butter. Dip the bread sandwich in cinnamon soy milk mixture, coating both sides of the bread.
  3. Cook the sticks. Cook in an oiled non-stick pan over medium heat for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden.
  4. Serve with fruits and maple syrup, as desired.
